Purpose of this criterion

To report if there is a title present in the application's title bar. Titles helps provide an idea of what the PDF/document consists of.

How to fix

  • File > Properties > Description > Enter your title in the "Title" input field
  • Click "Initial View" and choose "Document Title" from the "Show" dropdown List
  • Click "OK" and close the "Document Properties" dialog box
  • To verify if the title appears in the title bar, follow the steps below:
    • File > Properties > Initial view > select "Document Title" under the "Show" dropdown menu
