How to perform an accessibility check using Adobe Acrobat Pro

Follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Tools.
  2. Select Accessibility.
  3. Select "Full Check" from the Accessibility Panel.
  4. Select "Start Checking" from the  Accessibility Checker Options Dialog box.
  5. After the check is complete, the "Accessibility Checker" panel will open up and be docked to the left.
  6. In the Accessibility Checker, you will be able to drill down to the elements that contain the error. Use the chevron to expand and collapse the elements.

Where to access the report

After performing a full accessibility check on your document, an accessibility report will be generated. To access the report follow the steps below:

  1. On your Accessibility Tools pane, select "Accessibility Report.
  2. An Accessibility Report panel will open up and be docked to your left.
