Purpose of this criterion

To check if the primary text language of the PDF is set so that screen readers can switch to the appropriate language

How to Fix

Choose one of the following:

  • Option #1: Accessibility Checker > Primary Language > Right click and select "Fix" > Choose your primary language
  • Option #2: File > Properties > Advanced > Under "Reading Options" > Select your primary language from the "Language" dropdown list
