The City of Toronto leads by example, ensuring that all our web-based services and information are accessible and usable by residents, businesses, visitors and City staff.

Accessibility and usability are the combination of a number of factors, and not simply about compliance.

Guaranteeing best practices in web development, design and content, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) form the backbone of the City’s Digital Accessibility Principles & Knowledge Base.
