Purpose of this criterion

  • To ensure that links are accessible to screen readers
  • To ensure that navigation links are not repetitive OR that there is a way to skip repetitive links

How to verify

Use the screen reader and "Tab" through your document, listening to ensure that your link is announced properly.

It is important to ensure that your links have a clear "Link Title" so that it's easier for the user to determine the contents of the link.
