Who do we serve?

The Human Services Integration project seeks to improve client experience in accessing and utilizing the three key income support programs (Ontario Works, Child Care Fee Subsidy, and Rent-Geared-to-Income) for all Torontonians. These income support programs serve many Torontonians with a variety of service needs

Summary

115,700 households received Ontario Works & related benefits
- That is approximately 200,000 individual clients
100,500 households on the social housing wait list- a 8% increase from the previous year
- That is approximately 187,000 individual clients
Approximately 30,000 families received a child care fee subsidy
- That is almost 43,000 individual children
- There are approximately 12,000 children waiting for a subsidy
