The timeline feature organizes information chronologically, enhancing clarity of event sequences in processes. It is useful for projects with distinct phases.

Criteria

  • Each step should represent one of the following states: complete, current, or upcoming.

  • The title field is mandatory for every step.

  • The date/status field is optional but recommended for chronological order.

    • This field emphasizes the sequence of events based on when they occurred, typically with exact dates or periods provided.

    • It's ideal for showing the progress of projects where timing is crucial.

  • The description field is optional, permitting a brief summary.

    • Hyperlinks can be included in the description text.

  • For sequential order, prioritize logical progression.

    • This involves arranging steps in a to-do list manner, based on logical progression, regardless of time.

    • Useful for explaining processes or creating lists where the order is more important than timing.
