  • The City of Toronto logo is the global identifier and appears in the top left of every page on toronto.ca.

  • There is one City of Toronto, and one voice. All City divisions are represented with the City of Toronto logo therefore there is no need to add additional division-specific designed identifiers, graphics or text recognition to highlight any single division’s work.

  • The website should not display additional division-specific identifiers or text recognition.

  • Do not include toronto logo in content area

Approved Secondary Graphic Identifiers 

  • Use secondary graphic identifiers in content area as inline image.

  • They must be smaller than the toronto logo in top blue band in desktop - 225px max width in desktop and mobile.

  • Need approval to use a graphic identifier on banner.

  • A graphic identifier must be clearly readable if placed on background image.

Campaign Graphics

  • Campaign graphics are generally not used as page banners unless special permission is received from Digital Communications.

  • City-approved campaign graphics can be used as non-banner, inline images on a page.

  • All secondary graphic identifiers must be approved by Strategic Communications.

  • No labels
