Criteria

  • Can be used to highlight a quotation from a person or from a reliable source of information. For example, a quotation from the mayor, Municipal Code excerpts or Statistics Canada data.

  • Must not include hyperlinks, bold, bullets, italics or headings.

  • Must not be used as a section heading.

  • Should Must not duplicate information found elsewhere on the page – not to be used as a pull quote (for example, a quote in a newspaper article).

  • The quotations should be at the top and the source should have a dash in frontattribution must appear below the quotation, begin with a dash and use small font. See example above.
