Intake Workflow Overview


  • When an issue is opened via Service Manager Portal and submitted for authorization, it will be reviewed by Salesforce Service Delivery Team Management.

  • After the ticket is approved and if the "Require Release" field is checked, the ticket will be automatically copied to Jira Software Manager Kanban Board where the development life cycle begins.

  • The release planning and implementation can also be managed accordingly. Each release can include multiple tickets and have either “Unreleased“ or “Released/Deployed“ status.

  • Once the release is deployed successfully, all related tickets should be closed in Service Manager.
