An icon is an immediate visual indicator of a content type or a reference to concepts and terms. Examples of icons can be recognizable symbols such as the recycling triangle, document icons, social networking icons, and external link icons.

The City has an approved set of icons. Always use the same icons for the same reference across all pages.
